FilingOak · LLC Formation by State
Wisconsin LLC Formation Service
Wisconsin charges $130 for online LLC Articles of Organization, making the standard FilingOak order $625. The paper Articles route is more expensive.
The annual report is due during the calendar quarter that contains the LLC's formation anniversary. Wisconsin also has a genuine Student Entrepreneur fee waiver that can make direct paper filing the better economic choice for a qualifying founder.

Wisconsin uses the anniversary quarter
The current online annual-report fee is $25. The report is due during the quarter containing the formation anniversary: March 31, June 30, September 30 or December 31 depending on the quarter. That is different from both an anniversary-day rule and one statewide annual date. Wisconsin official filing and fee guidance
The student-entrepreneur waiver can change the DIY decision
A qualifying student entrepreneur can use Wisconsin's paper Form 502SE and have the ordinary $130 filing fee waived when all of the state's eligibility conditions are satisfied. FilingOak does not treat that state benefit as a FilingOak discount or pretend its standard online route is cheaper for an eligible student.
Wisconsin asks for a physical registered office and organizer
Wisconsin's online Articles require the registered-agent, physical registered-office, principal-office, organizer and management information called for by DFI. Filed information becomes public. FilingOak prepares the state filing from the actual company facts rather than guessing which person or address should be used.
Wisconsin expressly treats filed information as public
Wisconsin expressly treats filed information as public. Public Record Address Privacy can be used only where the particular field and FilingOak address workflow allow it; it cannot remove organizers, registered-office requirements or management information the filing asks for.

A qualifying student entrepreneur has a stronger reason to file directly
A qualifying Wisconsin student entrepreneur may be better served by using the state's paper fee-waiver route directly rather than paying FilingOak for a standard online formation. That is a real non-fit case and should be said plainly.
For other founders, DIY is still reasonable when the online Articles, registered-agent requirement and quarter-based annual report are comfortable tasks. FilingOak is the alternative when the broader administrative package is worth the $495 service fee.
