FilingOak · LLC Formation by State

Alaska LLC Formation Service

Alaska charges $250 for the domestic LLC Articles of Organization. FilingOak uses that same $250 state amount, so the standard FilingOak order is $745: $495 for the service and $250 for the state filing.

The filing is only the first date on the Alaska calendar. A new domestic LLC has a no-fee Initial Report within six months, and the paid $100 Biennial Report later follows the even-or-odd reporting cycle tied to formation.

The Initial Report is free, but it is still part of formation

Alaska requires a domestic LLC to file an Initial Report within six months of organization. There is no state fee for that report. Treating it as optional because it costs nothing would leave the formation calendar incomplete.

January 2 and February 2 are different points in the biennial cycle

The ordinary domestic LLC biennial report is due January 2 in the applicable reporting year. Alaska's current guidance shows the higher late amount beginning on or after February 2. The parity year depends on when the entity was formed, so the first paid report cannot be stated as one universal calendar year for every new LLC. Alaska official filing and fee guidance

Alaska asks who manages the LLC from the start

Alaska's Articles collect the registered-agent arrangement, management structure and company officials. FilingOak needs those real management and official details before preparing the filing; it does not fill an official field by guessing which person should appear there.

Alaska can publish officials and management details

The management and official information submitted to Alaska can become part of the public entity record. Public Record Address Privacy can reduce unnecessary residential-address exposure where an eligible filing field and FilingOak-supported address genuinely allow it, but it does not remove officials the state requires or create an anonymous LLC.

DIY works if you are comfortable owning Alaska's two-report calendar

Alaska makes self-filing available. If you are comfortable with the Articles, registered agent, Initial Report and parity-year calendar, paying $495 for formation help may not solve enough of a problem for you.

The FilingOak package earns its place when you want those administrative pieces handled together and want the later reporting cycle carried into the same formation record rather than reconstructed from memory.
