FilingOak Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last Updated: September 20, 2026
FilingOak is operated by Enterobiz LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company. “FilingOak,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Enterobiz LLC doing business through the FilingOak brand.
1. Purpose
This Policy explains FilingOak refunds, cancellation, and future-renewal rules and supplements the Terms of Service.
2. Full Refund Before Work Starts
If you request cancellation before FilingOak has started work on the purchased service and before FilingOak has incurred or committed nonrecoverable costs for that service, you are eligible for a full refund of the amount you paid for that service.
FilingOak will not deduct its payment-processing fee from an eligible full refund. FilingOak absorbs that fee so the customer receives the full refundable amount paid.
3. After Work or Nonrecoverable Cost Begins
Once FilingOak has started substantive work, the FilingOak Fee attributable to work already performed is not refundable merely because the customer changes their mind. Government fees and third-party costs already paid, submitted, incurred, or irrevocably committed are not refundable by FilingOak to the extent FilingOak cannot recover them.
This rule does not permit FilingOak to retain money for work not performed or costs not incurred merely by labeling an order as started.
4. LLC Formation
Before work and nonrecoverable costs begin, LLC Formation is eligible for the full-refund rule above. After work begins, performed work is not refundable merely because of a change of mind. Registered Agent costs already purchased or committed and state filing fees already paid, submitted, or irrevocably committed are not refundable to the extent FilingOak cannot recover them.
5. EIN Application Service
Before work begins, the $249 EIN Application Service is eligible for a full refund. Once FilingOak begins substantive preparation or processing, the service fee is not refundable merely because the customer changes their mind. FilingOak remains responsible for the purchased service and for FilingOak-caused errors within its scope.
6. Annual Report Filing Service
Before work and nonrecoverable costs begin, the service is eligible for a full refund. After substantive work begins, FilingOak's $149 service fee attributable to work performed is not refundable merely because of a change of mind. Government fees already paid, submitted, or irrevocably committed are nonrefundable to the extent unrecoverable.
7. Registered Agent Service
Before activation or purchase of the Registered Agent service and before FilingOak incurs or commits a nonrecoverable cost, the purchase is eligible for a full refund. Once activated or a nonrecoverable annual cost is incurred or committed, that cost is not refundable merely because the customer changes their mind. Turning off renewal stops the next renewal charge; it does not undo a term already purchased.
8. Mail Scanning
Mail Scanning is a $299 annual commitment. Before activation and before the backend annual cost is incurred or committed, it is eligible for a full refund. Once activated or once that annual cost is incurred or committed, a change of mind does not make the purchased annual term refundable. Turning off renewal prevents the next annual charge; the already-paid service remains active through its annual term.
9. Government Delay or Rejection
Government rejection, delay, additional-information requests, outages, or decisions outside FilingOak's control do not by themselves create a refund right for FilingOak work properly performed. FilingOak remains responsible for included correction or follow-up work within the purchased service.
10. FilingOak Error, Duplicate Charge, or Failure
This Policy does not waive FilingOak's responsibility for its own work. Unauthorized or duplicate charges will be investigated and corrected where appropriate. If FilingOak fails to provide a purchased service for reasons attributable to FilingOak, FilingOak will provide the refund, correction, or other remedy required by the circumstances and applicable law.
11. Automatic Renewal Cancellation
Turning off automatic renewal prevents future renewal charges when completed before the applicable renewal charge. It does not retroactively cancel or refund a term already purchased unless this Policy or applicable law provides otherwise. FilingOak will provide a reasonably accessible cancellation method, including FounderVault where supported.
12. Requests and Refund Method
Customers may use FilingOak's designated support or account controls to request cancellation or a refund. FilingOak may verify account ownership. Approved refunds are generally returned to the original payment method; posting time after issuance depends on the payment processor and financial institution.
13. Non-Waivable Rights
Nothing in this Policy limits refund, cancellation, charge, or consumer rights that applicable law does not permit the parties to waive.
